Difficulty Level: Hydnophora is one of the easier SPS corals with minimal chemical needs other than stability and higher light.
Feeding: Hydno will eat small particulate meat based foods such as rotifers or cyclopeze.
Lighting: Higher lighting is a must as with most SPS corals.
Waterflow: Strong random current will suite hydnophora in keeping its flesh clear of detritus and other debris.
Placement: Hydno is an aggressive SPS coral, so keep it away from other more sensitive species.
General: Hydnophora comes in many different growth forms, but with the same super-fluorescent coloration on most, they are easy to pick out.
